Anything by Gregory Maguire, Tom Robbins, Christopher Moore. And non-fiction. I have a buttload of books, and you're welcome to any/all of them!

Well, since you asked..."Middlesex" is excellent. If you like circus/carnie stuff,(who doesn't?) "Wonder When you'll Miss Me" is wonderful. "The Known World" is also a great book.

I like books. Books are cool.

i loved the prodigal summer by barbara kingsolver and also the poisonwood bible was good but really heavy...maybe it might help if you say what genre or type of book you are looking for??? how i learned to cook was a great book!!!!! seriously great, its an anthology of stories about crazy mothers....mary olivers poetry is really nice....and then of course rebecca walker's black white and jewish is one of my favorites i've read it at least 5 times. and alice walkers now is the time to open your heart was pretty good.

i also agree that middlesex was great!!

We love Not a Box and Tacky the Penguin. If you like, I'll read them to you.

Another good read is What Did You Put in Your Pocket.

i have tons of books that you're welcome to - i agree with other posts: middlesex is really very good and the harry potter series is damn addictive. what kind of books do you like? i have suggestions for LGBT books, murder mystery books, coming of age feminist theory type books.....

i really enjoyed "Prodical Summer". it's pretty hetro, but very enviromental with good human twists. and laura is right "Middlesex" is excellent. oh and it's been awhile but "the life and times of the Wicked Witch of the West" was really good.
